Mike Hooks Wins Lake Charles Dredging Contract
Mike Hooks LLC, a Westlake, Louisiana based dredging contractor, has won an $11.2 million firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging.
Work will be performed at Lake Charles, Louisiana, with an estimated completion date of June 30, 2017, according to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).
Bids were solicited via the Internet with four received, the Department stated.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is the contracting activity.
Mike Hooks provides dredging services for government and private marine construction contracts in Gulf Coast Region.
It offers navigable waterways maintenance dredging, wetland replenishment, beach restoration, harbor excavation and new construction services.
