Wasa Dredging, a Finnish marine offshore and inland water construction company, has just released a photo of its new 140 ton multi-purpose land machine based on a EX1200 Excavator from Hitachi.

The machine features a special Wasa designed 24 meter boom configuration with a 4 m³ heavy duty bucket.

The other important part of this impressive dredging tool is a widened operator cabin, aimed to accommodate the special dredging monitoring systems and software.

The first project for the machine will be the dredging project in Klintehamn, Sweden where the EX1200 will be handling the masses for the landfill, dredged by Wasa’s backhoe 18000 “Optimus”.
