The 1000m³ trailing suction hopper dredger Kadosh has successfully completed sea trials and will soon be operating in the Tuapse Department of FSUE Rosmorport’s Azov-Black Sea Branch.

During the trials, the ship’s equipment was tested thoroughly including navigation, all the mechanics, loading and unloading systems.

After five days of tests, the newbuild, which was launched on October 5th, finished the trials with flying colours on Sunday, November 6, 2016.

The Kadosh comes as the third and final vessel of the TSHD 1000 series which were built by the Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard.

The TSHD 1000 series were designed by Damen Shipyards Gorinchem (Netherlands) with the working design documentation provided by Volga-Caspian Design Bureau (MNP Group, Russia).

Vessel particulars: LOA – 62,6 m; Beam – 14 m; Draft – 4,25 m: Hopper capacity – 1000 m³; Deadweight – 1685 tonnes; Trailing pipe diameter 500 mm; Total installed power 3225 kW.
