NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard has been busy lately working on several newbuild projects including a self-propelled dredger of the SDS-15 project.

In order to perform dredging on the Dnipro River, NIBULON is building the self-propelled dredger able to dredge up to 15m, including the limiting areas of the Dnipro and the Dniprodzerzhynsk Reservoirs.

According to the company, right now the specialists of metal processing workshop are producing parts for the strength hull.

NIBULON has already bought a powerful Volvo hydraulic excavator that will be installed on board the new vessel.

The Ukrainian shipbuilder is planning to launch the new dredger in August with the delivery set for late 2017.
