The International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) has released in its latest Terra et Aqua an article named ‘Safety on Site‘.

One in five fatal accidents occur in construction and a high percentage of it involves a man on the ground. This article explains how companies can significantly reduce the number of potential accidents on the construction site by implementing strict safety protocols; separating pedestrians and machinery on the site; and what employees can do to maintain a safe working environment.

As a preventive measure to reduce the number of incidents related to man and heavy machinery, most companies have developed safe work practices and procedures.

By creating safety policies and procedures regarding heavy equipment and effectively communicating them with employees, companies can considerably reduce the potential of incidents.
