VIDEO: Cooper’s Ditch Dredging in Full Swing

The City of Chesapeake, Virginia, has just release a video update on their Cooper’s Ditch Dredging Project.

Public Works and contractor crews have been working this summer to dredge Cooper’s Ditch, a key element in Chesapeake’s Stormwater Management Program.

This edition of Chesapeake Minutes goes behind the scenes to show how this vital work takes place.

The main goal of this cleanup scheme is to restore the hydraulic capacity of the areas previously dredged by removing the sediment build up and restoring the ditch’s bottom profile.
