Rosmorport Releases Tender for Pionersky Project

FSUE Rosmorport recently released a tender for the “Construction of Sea Port Infrastructure in Kaliningrad Region”.

According to the company, the tender is for the development of detailed design and construction of the new cruise terminal in Pionersky.

The scope of work includes: land reclamation to create 5.16 hectares of new land, dredging in excess of 1.2 million cbm, deepening to designed seabed mark of 10.9 m, and construction of a protective hydraulic engineering structure.

The project also calls for the construction of two berths with the 725 meters long quay wall, construction of a 110.2-meter-long berth for service harbor vessels, construction of onshore facilities of the sea terminal, construction of engineering support facilities and installation of navigational aids.

The new sea terminal in Pionersky, estimated to be worth over $125 million, will enable the region to boost passenger traffic to 305,000 people a year.

The deadline for submitting bids is November 20, 2017.
