Rosmorport Gets OK for Vostochny and Nakhodka Dredging Plans

Federal State Unitary Enterprise (FSUE) Rosmorport has received positive findings from the State Ecology Expert Panel on design documentation to carry out maintenance dredging operations in the ports of Vostochny and Nakhodka.

The panel recognized that provided design documentation corresponded to the environmental requirements, the appropriate technical regulations and environmental law, Rosmorport said in its latest announcement.

The federal enterprise received the findings for the following projects:

  • The project “Hydraulic Structure of Berth No 8 water area, Vostochny Seaport (maintenance dredging operations)”.
  • The project “Hydraulic Structure of Berth No 7 water area, Vostochny Seaport (maintenance dredging operations)”.
  • The project “Hydraulic Structures: Water area Buildup 1; Water area Buildup5 ; Water area Buildup 7; Water area Buildup 8; Hydraulic Structure – Approach Channel (Primorsky Territory, Nakhodka, the water area of Nakhodka Bay)”.

The FSUE Rosmorport’s 2018 draft plan on maintenance dredging operations includes excavation works in the water areas of Berth No 7 and Berth No 8 in the Port of Vostochny, as well as in the water areas of Berth No 1, Berth No 7 and Berth No 8 of the Port of Nakhodka.
