Hearing on America’s Water Resources Infrastructure Set for This Week

The Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment will hold this week a hearing to examine new approaches to speed the delivery of critical water infrastructure projects, the U.S. House of Representatives said in their latest release.

The testimony heard at the hearing will help inform the committee’s work as it considers a new Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) later this year.

At the meeting, the subcommittee will hear testimony from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, a regional government flood control agency, as well as entities representing project contractors and real estate management companies.

The hearing of the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment, chaired by U.S. Rep. Garret Graves (R-LA), is entitled, “America’s Water Resources Infrastructure: Approaches to Enhanced Project Delivery.”

According to the official statement, the event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
