Royal HaskoningDHV Sponsors the World Water Atlas

Royal HaskoningDHV is sponsoring the World Water Atlas, launched in New York on World Water Day, 22 March 2018.

The Atlas is a virtual platform where states and citizens can meet to share and exchange lessons and best practices for addressing water-related disasters and translate them into solutions that can then be promoted globally.

Royal HaskoningDHV has base countries in the Netherlands, the UK, South Africa and Indonesia, providing solutions locally and regionally to the socioeconomic tensions created by either too much, too little or too dirty water. As a result, the company has a global track record of delivering collaborative solutions which enhance society.

The company is also leading the way on smart digital solutions for cities and flood resilience solutions for urban areas which use the latest digital tools and technology so its involvement with the World Water Atlas is a natural fit.

The World Water Atlas project was initiated and supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Deltares, the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency and the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam, with support from the Dutch water sector and under the patronage of the UN/Worldbank High Level Panel on Water.
