The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, will host in the following months an informational outreach event entitled “Waterways, Wetlands, and You!” about the Corps’ Regulatory Program.

This event, facilitated by the Corps’ Regulatory staff, will provide an overview of the Corps’ Regulatory Program and give the public an opportunity to ask questions directly to the team members that review permit applications and enforce permit laws and regulations, said USACE.

This forum will also provide an opportunity to interact with Regulatory Project Managers to discuss working in regulated waterways, wetlands and along shorelines; when a permit is required from USACE; and the information needed to apply for a permit.

The forums will be held as follows:

  • Temperance, Michigan, May 21, 2018;
  • Oscoda, Michigan, June 5, 2018;
  • Goshen, Indiana, July 11, 2018;
  • Escanaba, Michigan, August 1, 2018.
