The main goal of this meeting is to inform the public about the ongoing feasibility study activities for the Matagorda Ship Channel feasibility study and solicit public input regarding the study.

“Public involvement is an essential part of our processes and we encourage any dialogue that discusses concerns or issues surrounding the study,” said Franchelle Craft, project manager.

“We also work closely with various federal, state, local agencies and interested organizations to incorporate their opinions when assessing proposed actions.”

This meeting will provide an opportunity for all persons to comment on the Draft Integrated Feasibility Report (DIFR) and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), said USACE.
