J.E. McAmis Wins Oregon Coast Maintenance Dredging Project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, has awarded a $2.28 million contract to J.E. McAmis of Chico, Calif., for the 2018 Oregon Coast Maintenance Dredging works.

According to the FedBizOpps, the $2,282,500.00 contract was awarded on June 1, 2018.

The project includes dredging works along the Oregon and Washington Coast and within the Lower Columbia River Estuary, reported USACE earlier in April.

Port Orford, Rogue River, and Baker Bay are the projects that were included in the solicitation.

The Corps also added that the anticipated scope of the Rogue River maintenance dredging project, located in Curry County, Oregon, includes dredging and placement of approximately 122,000 cubic yards of material. The environmental in-water work window is 1 June 2018 through 31 October 2018.

As for the Port Orford, located in Curry County, Oregon, the works include dredging and placement of approximately 35,000 cubic yards of material. The environmental in-water work window is 01 May 2018 through 31 October 2018.

The anticipated scope of the Baker Bay maintenance dredging project, located in Ilwaco, Pacific County, Washington, includes dredging and placement of approximately 80,000 cubic yards of material. The environmental in-water work window is 01 August 2018 through 15 December 2018.
