Port of Virginia One Step Closer to Deeper Channels

The Port of Virginia’s Wider, Deeper, Safer project to deepen and widen the Norfolk Harbor’s commercial shipping channels has secured full federal authorization with this week’s approval by the President of the America’s Water Infrastructure Act of 2018.

 

Bangladesh: ECNEC OKs Money for 35 Dredgers

The Bangladeshi Executive Committee of the National Economic (ECNEC) has approved a project to procure some 35 dredgers, costing around $526 million, to keep up navigability in 100 major rivers across the country, Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) reports.
