USACE has just released the latest photos of the GLDD’s mechanical dredger New York – taken during the rock removal operations that are currently taking place just north of the Delaware Memorial Bridge.

The deeper channel will provide for more efficient transportation of cargo to and from Delaware River ports, said USACE.

The project is a joint effort between USACE and the Port of Philadelphia.
