Tenders Announced for Mariupol and Berdiansk Dredging
The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) has announced tenders for dredging work in two ports of the Azov Sea – Mariupol and Berdiansk.
Commenting the latest announcement, the USPA head, Raivis Veckagans, said: “The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority has decided to divide the scope of work in ports on the Azov Sea. This is done so that potential contractors can mobilize the necessary fleet to perform works in each specific port.”
“We are interested in attracting the maximum number of participants in tenders and the earliest possible start of dredging works in Mariupol and Berdiansk.”
According to USPA, the amount of work that needs to be undertaken in Berdiansk Port is 1.85 million cubic meters of material, of which 1.4 million cubic meters from the approach channel and 466 thousand cubic meters from the inner water area of the port.
