IMS Dredge, Division of Ellicott Dredge Technologies, has just released these beautiful photos of their IMS DM-60 Depth Master working in a reservoir in Guatemala.
The DM-60 was chosen for its ability to create an even bottom profile in the dam instead of creating a moonscape in the bottom using a hanging pump system which is ineffective in consolidated materials.
The DM-60 is in a mountainous region of Guatemala and the dredger was delivered on two trucks six years ago and has been successfully operating since.
