Port St. Joe Beach Nourishment VIDEO

The Florida coast is home to some of the most beautiful white, sandy beaches.

On a recent survey of the dredging progress at Port St. Joe, Manson Construction’s Dave McPeak captured some amazing footage of the exceptional work being done by the GLENN EDWARDS hopper dredging crews.

The St. Joseph Peninsula (Cape San Blas) beach renourishment project included the area of beach between the Stumphole revetment and the southern boundary of Billy J. Rish Park in Gulf County, Florida.

The contractor was awarded Bid No. 1718-13 for a total of $10.2 million to place roughly 705,000 cubic yards of sand on the southern end of St. Joseph Peninsula.

Construction activities on this project were officially completed this November.
