The Port of Corpus Christi has just released this beautiful video about their channel improvement project.
The Port of Corpus Christi is the third most profitable port in the United States and is the second-largest export gateway of crude oil.
The channel itself is 36-miles long, with 30+ ship berths serving the cargo, dry and liquid bulk, breakbulk, and wind energy industries.
Given the trend of the United States producing fuel sources, deepening and widening the Corpus Christi Ship Channel is the key to maintaining and increasing this trend.
Completion of the channel project will allow the port to increase export volumes of U.S. oil and natural gas, bolstering domestic energy production while supporting our Nation’s allies abroad.
