Dredging works for the Ha. Ihavandhoo Harbor development project are progressing according to schedule, with 98% completion so far, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) informs.

First shipment of pre-cast concrete blocks, required for the construction of quay wall, was successfully delivered to the project site on May 20, 2021.

Additionally, the installation of navigation lights, streetlights and construction of 4,582m2 of paved area will also be undertaken.

The value of the Ihavandhoo Harbor development project is MVR 48.5 million ($3.1 million).
