Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) today released the latest update on their R. Dhuvaafaru Land Reclamation and Shore Protection Project.
According to the announcement, they have completed 60% of reclamation works so far.

For this task, the company sent their trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) Mahaa Jarraafu.
The project was contracted to MTCC in November 2020.
MTCC CEO, Adam Azim, signed the contract on behalf of the company, while the Director General of Planning Ministry, Fathimath Shaana Farooq, put her signature on behalf of the Ministry.
