Beacon Marine Construction’s crews are currently very busy working on a dredging project in Osterville, Massachusetts.
All the material is being bulk loaded onto a large deck barge and towed to New Bedford where the material is being off loaded and disposed.
This is a logistical project working around the tides and weather conditions and to coordinate the tugboats meeting offshore.
At the end of this scheme, they will have removed 1000 cubic yards of sand that infilled their customers dock leaving it unusable for the last many years.
