Royal Smals dredging crews are currently busy in Portugal.

In cooperation with professional partners and authorities, Smals Dredging is executing challenging maintenance dredging works at ‘North of Porto’.

“The entrance of a shallow tidal harbour with heavy currents is being desilted and with the sediment we strengthen the nearby located beaches,” said the company.

Royal Smals has a fleet of specialized dredgers. These vessels mainly operate in inland waters, and are used for maintenance and sand reclamation works.
