Sorensen’s marine team recently welcomed 6th year students from Scoil Phobail Bhéara in Casteltownbere, to the Dinish Wharf project for a site visit.

The site team explained the various construction methodologies that were used to deliver each element of this large infrastructural project.

“The feedback from the students was very positive, and they showed a lot of interest in the Civil & Marine Engineering industry, which is very encouraging,” Sorensen said.

This project is located adjacent to Scoil Phobail Bhéara, so the students and the staff had a great view of the progress over the past year or so.

This project will provide much needed berthing capacity for the local and EU fishing boats.
