The Western Dredging Association (WEDA) will later this week hold a webinar on Underwater Acoustics.
The webinar named “ Demystifying Acoustical Sensors: What to use for what application ” is set for Friday, January 27, at noon EST.
According to WEDA, this webinar will provides a high-level overview of acoustical sensors. It includes an introduction to Single beam Fathometers, Side-scan, Multibeam Imaging, profiling systems, DAS, and Scanning Sonar, focusing on understanding which acoustical sensor is appropriate for different applications.
The webinar is targeted at professionals working in the marine infrastructure and dredging sectors and is intended to provide a high-level overview of these technologies and systems.
