Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority will this month hold a series of public hearings where CPRA will present the 2023 DRAFT Coastal Master Plan.

During the events, CPRA will also introduce the DRAFT Fiscal Year 2024 Annual Plan, and the DRAFT 2024 Atchafalaya Basin Program Annual Plan.

As in previous years, the plans include a variety of restoration project types that harness natural processes and use available dredge material to create and maintain land over time.

The meetings will be an opportunity for communities across the coast to provide feedback and a court reporter will be present to record official public comment. Public comment will be accepted on all plans through March 25, 2023.
