Weeks Marine has completed the last section of the northern nourishment area in the Town of Duck.

Following the final load, Weeks broke down the shore pipe last weekend and transported equipment back to the subline landing at Dianne Street.

The hopper dredge Magdalen is now pumping sand from the Dianne Street and working towards the Army Corps Pier.

Beach nourishment construction – dependent on a number of factors including weather, mechanical issues, and other unforeseen delays – is expected to be completed by late-May.
