Last Tuesday a Central Dredging Association – CEDA meeting was held at Damen Shipyards in The Netherlands.

The fully-booked member network event included a yard tour and a series of presentations, including a short history on dredge builders by Joke Korteweg.

Moreover Pieter Verbiest spoke on work boat assistance when working with TSHDs & CSDs and Jeroen van Woerkum introduced the Damen workboat-portfolio.

Finally René Sens made it clear that any workboat can be turned into a dredger using a plough, a Water Injection Dredging system or a DOP submersible dredge pump.
