Since last December, Marinex team worked tirelessly to place over 1 million cubic yards of sand to Wrightsville Beach and reduce risk associated with any potential storms in the upcoming hurricane season.

Overall, the $13.6 million contract included dredging in Masonboro Inlet, screening and and placing beach-quality sand on to the coastline.

This 100% federally funded project will reduce risk to infrastructure by providing a level of protection against hurricanes and coastal storms.
