The Town of North Topsail Beach, NC, has announced that the Phase 5 of the beach nourishment project is complete.
According to the Town, the work was completed on May 15th and equipment was demobilized from the beach on May 16th and May 17th.
The project in total included placing approximately 636,000 cubic yards (cy) of sand along approximately 18,500 feet of NTB shoreline – from the Surf City Border up to around 3686 Island Drive.
“As soon as the final two pieces of equipment are removed from the Gray Street beach access, the Gray Street beach access will re-open,” concluded the Town.
