The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority continues to advance Roberts Bank Terminal 2 project, which will deliver the future capacity Canada needs while adding supply chain resiliency.

One important focus is consulting and collaborating with First Nations to develop and finalize the Species at Risk Act-compliant Fisheries Act Authorization application that will be submitted to Fisheries and Oceans Canada this fall.

The Authority recently received the Environmental Assessment Award from the Environmental Managers Association of B.C. for the Roberts Bank project. This award recognizes the methods and completeness of an environmental assessment, and the innovative application of design modifications and mitigation strategies.

Meanwhile, the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority is continuing field studies as part of the ongoing environmental and technical work for the Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project.

Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project is a proposed new three-berth marine container terminal located at Roberts Bank in Delta, British Columbia.
