Mid-South Testing of Decatur, AL, recently took delivery of their second Mud Cat® 225D after their first Mud Cat 225D (formerly called the model 815) performed 17 years of reliable service.
Both dredges are currently operating with the newest unit working on a 17 ft. (5.18m) deep, 8-acre industrial pond.

Mid-South Testing ordered the brand new 2024 Mud Cat 225D with the 4-point cable drive system, liner protection wheels, and centralized lubrication system.
Additionally, the dredge came with both the SolidsMaster® cutter bar for breaking up harder deposits and the EnviroMaster® cutter bar for conveying higher percent solids in industrial sludge environments.
The dredge was delivered within a couple weeks after order and start-up and training were promptly scheduled, the company said.
