ML (UK) Dredging is about to begin the next round of routine maintenance dredging works at the Gosport Marina.

The dredging is set to commence on 16 October with expected completion by late November 2024, weather permitting.

According to Gosport Marina, this year will see dredging between K and I pontoons which is essential in maintaining the optimal water depth for safe navigation.

The vessels conducting this task will be either “Witton II” or “Boxer” (Backhoe dredgers). Spoil from the dredging vessels will be loaded into one of two self-propelled barges, “Split Two” or “Split Three” for disposal to the NAB Spoil Ground.
