The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, is closing in on the finish line for dredging Port Clinton Harbor.

Dredging the federal navigation channels of Port Clinton Harbor in Port Clinton, Ohio, is set to help maintain sufficient water depths for safe recreational navigation.

“ We’re halfway to our 10,000 cubic yard goal as we progress from the river to the lake approach entrance of the harbor ,” said USACE .

According to USACE, maintaining safe and navigable harbors like these throughout the Great Lakes is critical to the local, regional and National economy.
