MT Højgaard Denmark has just completed the third phase of future-proofing the Port of Roenne.

With an expanded project area of 100,000m², this phase contributes to strengthening the harbor’s unique position in the Baltic Sea as the central hub for wind turbine shipments.

The third phase included extending the outer breakwater and improving navigation with a larger turning basin.

Additionally, the future-proofing project features a new multi-functional quay and extensive dredging in the inner harbour area.

Together, these efforts support the overall supply security for Bornholm and bolster the harbor’s role as the island’s primary commercial port.
