After failing in the first attempt, the Albanian Road Authority has reopened the EUR 393 million tender for the construction of the New Integrated Commercial Port of Durres in Porto Romano.
According to documents published by the Public Procurement Agency, the tender date is scheduled for February 7 next year.
This is the second time that the Albanian government and the ARRSH have attempted to tender for the construction of the new port in Porto Romano.
According to the officials, the project development includes dredging and reclamation activities, the construction of quay walls and the construction of breakwaters.
The tendering process for the new port in Porto Romano is being led by the Dutch company Royal Haskoning.
