After successfully completing dredging works in Poole Harbor, Jenkins Marine’s dredger ‘C H Horn’ has arrived in Ipswich to start work on the Woolverstone Marina dredging project.
C H Horn is an extremely efficient and manoeuvrable self contained dredger, able to load her 125m3 capacity hopper well in as little as one hour with good digging.
Over the next few weeks, the dredger will be carrying out maintenance dredging of the Woolverstone Marina to ensure continued access within the marina and individual berths.
This includes removal of approximately 15,000m3 of dredge material, making the marina ready for a busy season ahead.
Previous dredge campaigns saw dredging completed by Jenkins Marine in 2010, 2013, 2019 and 2022 with ploughing work also completed over the years.
