IMS commissioned a brand new 7012 HP Versi-Dredge® in Texas for a repeat customer at a paper mill earlier this week.
The 7012 HP was selected due to the number of aerators to maneuver around in the large lagoon.
“ IMS’s patented Starwheel Drive self-propulsion system can maneuver around the aerators without using multiple people and a workboat to re-set anchor cables ,” the company said.
“Shore mounted anchor cables would not have been practical and would have increased operational costs and decreased productivity.”
