Bahrain’s Ministry of Works has received five bids for an engineering and quantity surveying consultancy contract related to the Salman Industrial City and Bahrain Logistics Zone land reclamation project.
According to tender opening results, Dar SSH International Engineering Consultants submitted the lowest bid at 778,580 Bahraini dinars ($2.07 million).
AECOM Middle East submitted the second-lowest offer at $2.2 million, followed by Ansari Engineering Services at $2.35 million and Millet Engineering Bureau at $2.4 million. AYESA BL Ireland International submitted the highest bid at $2.87 million.
The project includes reclaiming approximately 1.13 million square meters of land using around 9.67 million cubic meters of fill material, as well as rock revetment edge works at a site along Avenue 13 – Khalifa Bin Salman Port.
Also, the consultancy scope includes pre- and post-contract engineering and quantity surveying services for the reclamation works.
Upon completion, part of the platform will be handed over to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
