Straatman has just completed a new Ø1000 female bow coupling - manufactured for Jan de Nul.
This component features a 15° swivel capability, allowing angular movement during operation. Also, the coupling is rated for a working pressure of 30 bar.
As part of the bow coupling assembly, the female part forms the connection point for the dredging pipeline.
According to Straatman, it is built to handle high operating pressures and the heavy loads that come with dredging work, providing a strong and reliable connection during operation.
