This summer, Filia Dredging has worked at several Latvian ports.
The hopper dredger Biesbosch - in combination with bed leveler Rayador - conducted a very efficient dredging operations at five ports in the country.
"In Salacgriva, we dredged the fairway and the port basin, including hard-to-reach corners and shallows. In Skulte, we dredged a compensation area near the breakwaters," Filia said.
In Roja, Filia completed an annual cleanup dredge. For the 3rd year in a row, the company worked in the Ventspils inner port area.
At the moment, dredging work on various channels and among quays to accommodate deeper-draft vessels for this year's grain season is moving forward in Liepaja.
