The Town of Weymouth, Massachusetts, will hold a public information meeting tomorrow to share details and gather feedback on two coordinated efforts along River Street: the River Street Resiliency Improvements and the Back River Dredge Project.
According to the Town of Weymouth, the initiatives are intended to:
- improve flood resilience,
- upgrade roadway and pedestrian infrastructure,
- enhance stormwater management and coastal access, and
- restore safe navigation conditions by dredging the Back River turning basin and entrance channel.
The Town of Weymouth said that this event will also include updates on the Weymouth Neck Infrastructure Improvements Project, also known as the Fort Point Road Seawall project.
The public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22nd, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Tufts Library, 46 Broad Street, Room 138, Weymouth.
