Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Belgium, Roman Vassilenko, met with Jan Pieter De Nul, Chairman of the Board of the Belgian company Jan De Nul, last week.
The parties discussed the company’s ongoing projects in Kazakhstan and prospects for further cooperation in transport and port infrastructure, marine engineering, and the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor).
Particular attention was given to potential cooperation in dredging and hydraulic engineering, energy infrastructure and other promising projects.
Also, the parties highlighted the growing role of the Middle Corridor in strengthening transport connectivity between Asia and Europe and discussed prospects for the further development of the Caspian infrastructure.
