DEME Group's trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) Minerva departed Rio de Janeiro on October 28, and is currently on its way to São Luís in northern Brazil.
Built in 2017, with 87m length, 18m beam, hopper capacity around 3.500m³, is one of the industry's early dual-fuel LNG-capable dredgers.
The TSHD is set to arrive in the São Luís area on November 4.
