As part of Bayside City Council's commitment to protecting Dendy Beach, they are renourishing the sand at the southern end of Dendy Beach.

Works are commencing next Monday, November 9, and are anticipated to take up to 4 weeks, weather and tides permitting.

Sand is being transported from the northern end of Brighton Beach (near Park Street ramp) during lower tide times to the renourishment area.

The renourishment area is closed for the entire project duration, according to the Council.

This round of beach regeneration will aim to provide 3 to 5 years of immediate protection for the beach, which will give Bayside City Council time to consider longer-term options.
