Dredging Department of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) has invited bidders for the dredging works at the Dhaka area.
These works include dredging by a cutter suction dredger for improving navigability of Dhaka-Taltala-Dohuri-Zazira-Madaripur-Kabirajpur-Chowdhuryhat/Peajkhali-Charjanaj/Kaorakandi river routes with construction of D Munshiganj, Madaripur and Shariatpur.
The time period for the completion of this program is 24 months from the date of contract award, and the deadline for the tender is January 16, 2013.
