Sino-Myanmar Dredging Program Makes Progress
- Business & Finance
On November 16, the last batch of offshore deepwater guiding beacons was installed, thus completing the principal part of 300,000-ton crude oil terminal and channel dredging project of Sino-Myanmar Crude Oil Pipeline Project was completed.
The construction of this project officially started on July 1, 2011; the original completion date on the contract was March 31, 2013. But, because of several reasons, the client changed the completion date to December 31, 2013.
At present, in this project, there is only the greening work of back area (about 3000m2) and the debugging of relevant wharf equipment, so it is certain that this project will meet the conditions for turning over the project to the client before the end of the year. Therefore, the project obtained a good social and economic benefit.
This is the completion of another major project of CHEC. At present, the general manager department of this project is sorting out and summarizing the work in aspects of project implementation, business management, scientific and technical innovation and cultural construction and trying to form experience materials that are available for reference.
