Norfolk Dredging Bags Baltimore Harbor Deepening Deal

Norfolk Dredging Company has won a $18.8 million contract for a dredging requirement for Baltimore harbor and channels. Maintenance dredging will take place in various channel sections in the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland. Fiscal 2014 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $18.8 million

Norfolk Dredging Company has won a $18.8 million contract for a dredging requirement for Baltimore harbor and channels.

Maintenance dredging will take place in various channel sections in the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland. Fiscal 2014 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $18.8 million were obligated at the time of the award.

The estimated completion date of this dredging program is February 28, 2015.
