The Launch of a Maritime and Offshore Career

As we are slowly approaching the end of the year, it is a good moment to look back at the developments of last year and look forward to 2018. 2017 was a turbulent year for the maritime, offshore and energy sector in Holland and beyond, and will keep posing challenges in 2018.

Precisely because of these developments, it will be even more important for the industry to ensure that technical and nautical expertise remains in this sector.

In order to show students, (young) professionals and those who are currently not working in the sector what the possibilities are, the Maritime & Offshore Career Guide, published by Navingo, offers companies from the industry a platform to present themselves.

The guide, which is printed in Dutch and online available both in Dutch and English, contains stories about what it’s like to work in the sector, company videos and descriptions of vacancies of participating companies.

For 12 years, readers have been using the guide in order to get a clear description of what companies have to offer to the employers. ”We use the Maritime & Offshore Career Guide often and it is an indispensable source of information on orientation for your career”, says student organisation ‘Scheepsbouwkundig Gezelschap Froude’.

The Guide is distributed through several educational institutions, exhibitions and companies in Holland and abroad, and through our strong partnerships we ensure exposure for your company and vacancies for professionals and students.

The deadline for participation in the 2018 edition closes soon, if you are interested to be a part of the Maritime & Offshore Career Guide and receive more information click here.
