The Republic of Maldives’ President, Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, has inaugurated the new harbor in Nolhivaranfaru Island, South Thiladummadulu Atoll.
During the ceremony the President unveiled the monuments placed to inaugurate the island’s new harbor.
The Nolhivaranfaru Island’s harbor is 700 feet long and 250 feet wide.
During this visit, the President also attended the ceremony held in Kulhudhuffushi to mark the completion of the island’s road development project, and shore protection project.
